An 'olde worlde' pub and restaurant right in the heart of the old walled town. Log fires, delicious food and good beer make this venue perfect for a cosy evening at the 'theatre'.


The Buccaneer

Just off Tudor Square, this lively pub is always busy and full of young locals and visitors. Pembrokeshire products form the base of first class pub food and a wide variety of beers complete the picture.


The Lifeboat

In the main square at the very centre of Tenby, this nautical themed pub provides excellent food, drink and entertainment to the many visitors to the town.


Stage Door Bar - Royal Lion

Part of the Royal Lion Hotel and opposite the old Tenby theatre (now a cinema) this bar, with photographic reminders of the films and stage heroes, serves pub grub and drinks.

The Crown

A true 'local' pub located at the bottom end of the famous Frog Street close to the sea. Good food and drinks with a friendly staff.


Tenby Rugby Club

A typical hospitable Welsh rugby club bar right in the centre of Tenby. Plenty of atmosphere in the Lounge Bat which promises to be an ideal place for a Festival event.

Theatr Gwaun

A Community theatre in Fishguard, seating 180 people.
With a varied programme of film and live entertainment, including jazz, folk, rock, classical, and world music, dance, professional, amateur and youth drama.

The first performance will be during Tenby Arts Festival, September 22nd. Three plays will be performed in three pubs one evening and three more plays in three other pubs the next evening. A selection of these plays will then be taken forward to two pubs in Fishguard. For more infomation on the performances click here

Then on October the 11th the six winning plays and the runners up will bet taken to a grand 'Script Slam' in Fishguard's Theatr Gwaun, to decide the 'Pint-sized champion'! times
