How much drama or comedy can you pack into a five or ten minute play? Pint-sized Plays show just how imaginative and original it can be. In turns funny, sad, poignant, Pint-sized Plays are written to be performed in a pub, and to show that small is beautiful.

The competition to find the best has now closed for this year and the winning plays and runners up are now being cast and going into rehearsal. You can enjoy them yourself during during the Tenby Arts Festival and in other pubs around Pembrokeshire. Then in October there will be a 'script slam' in Theatr Gwaun, Fishguard where the six winning plays and the four runners up will be showcased, and the audience gets to vote for their favourite, which will then be awarded the coveted 'Pint Trophy'!
Entries were judged by Phil Clark, who was Artistic Director of the Sherman Theatre Company in Cardiff from 1990 to 2006 where he prioritised new writing and commissioning and directing over 100 new plays.
